Pink Martini’s Songs for the Young at Heart

We have a day for giving thanks. We have two for getting deals. Now, we have #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. On Tuesday, December 1, 2015, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give.

To celebrate what is arguably the best holiday of the year, Pink Martini has once again partnered with the incredible team at Generous to create a pay-what-you-want downloadable playlist for the occasion.  Pink Martini’s Songs for the Young at Heart features 13 tracks from the Pink Martini collection that speak (and sing) to the kid in all of us. From classics like “Hang on Little Tomato” to rarely heard b-sides like “The Man With The Big Sombrero,” this playlist has something for avid fans and newcomers alike. It’s an all-ages, all-access pajama party.

The in-hospital program includes bedside sing-a-longs led by trained music specialists, instrument and iPad lending from mobile music carts, and live concerts from national recording artists.

MyMusicRx.org extends the bedside experience online, and invites kids facing cancer and other serious illnesses to feel the music and feel better by exploring exclusive artist greetings, concerts, music lessons, digital instruments and games – anytime, anywhere. So, go on. Give the electric slide a try.
